WPCA water safety😀

On Monday 25th of march The WPCA students went to west haven marine canter.

We learnt some stuff like the right way to wear a life jacket and how to flip a small boat over and how to stay warm in a group if your lost at sea.

We also got to do some stand up paddled boarding and kayaking my favourite bit was the stand up paddled boarding and kayaking.😀

WPCA Hunua challenge😀

On the 16th of March the Wesley Int WPCA group went for a walk in the Hunuas it was approximately 3 hours. The two boys were non stop talking nearly the whole time. My favourite part was walking up the stream to the mini water fall and taking lots of photos .Near the end we sat quietly for five minutes and just relaxed.😀

The William Pike Challenge Award

I decided that I wanted to join WPCA because it sounded like lots of fun and I liked the sound of it.As part of WPCA we have to do 5 outdoor activities, 20 hours community service and 20 hours passion project (learning a new skill of our choice) I am most looking forward to the outdoor activities, and doing my passion project then it's community service.😀

Our First session was a team building session what we did was we got into even gropes and we chose someone to be blind folded.Then the person who was blind folded had to fined some things.With the other people in their grope had to guide them by telling them witch way to go.
